Picture of Softball Men's Fast-Pitch Softball

Men's Fast-Pitch Softball has been played in Guernsey for over 70 years. Our Local and National teams have competed successfully at many top level competitions including the Europacup Championships, The British Championships, US Air Force tournaments and our own annual Guernsey Open events.

Men's Fast Pitch SoftballThe highlight of the Men's Fast-Pitch calendar is the Guernsey Open Tournament which takes place annually. Although a serious competition with a very high standard of play the Guernsey Softball Association has always been congratulated for the social atmosphere of the event and our hospitality towards visiting sides. Over the years and primarily due to this tournament we have established excellent relations with US Air Force teams from around Europe and although through base closures, their numbers have dwindled, we still maintain an excellent competition with alternative visiting sides competing. So impressed with the standard of play and friendliness of the event, that some of the Air Force players from the past who have now settled back in the United States, return to Guernsey just for this event.

If you would like to know more, please visit our Tournament Page for further information, this event has previously been enjoyed by teams and individuals visiting from the Czech Republic, Denmark, Israel, Netherlands, Belgium, Great Britain and various USAF bases.  A substantial pot of prize money has been up for grabs in previous years and this year will be no different.....only it will be BIGGER!

The size of 'the pot' will only depend on the amount of entries that we receive.   The more confirmed entries, the bigger the pot!

Prize money aside, we challenge you to find anyone that has previously participated in our events, and not taken home with them fond memories of our idyllic Island and not found the people of Guernsey to be hospitable, friendly hosts!
