located in the English Channel, approximately 20 miles from the coast of France.
Although English speaking, many of the characteristics of the island retain
their French origins. The attractive town of "St Peter Port ", where offshore
banking is now the predominant industry, still maintains its idyllic beauty.
Take a
short walk through the, quaint cobbled streets of St Peter Port and, you will find
numerous shops, cafe's, pubs, restaurants, hotels and guest-houses, catering for what is still a
prime tourist destination. Direct flights and sailings are available from the United Kingdom
